Enterprise helps build affordable housing for low-income Americans by providing financing and expertise to community and housing developers. Every 80 minutes, someone moves into a house we helped create. Enterprise Community Partners is a national nonprofit that provides loans, grants and information resources. Our for-profit subsidiary, Enterprise Community Investment, offers tax credit financing and asset management services. Plan Puts Billions Toward Affordable Housing in Los Angeles
Enterprise joined the city of Los Angeles in announcing Housing That Works, the Los Angeles five-year,
$5 billion plan to increase the affordable housing supply in the city. Enterprise's Southern California Office Director Jeff Schaffer stood with Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa to unveil Enterprise’s $700 million commitment to the city in support of the housing plan. The funds are allotted through loans, grants and equity and will help with the creation and preservation of 20,000 affordable, transit-oriented homes. Photo: Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.

HUD Housing Summit on Neighborhood Stabilization Program
On October 7, 2008, Ali Solis, vice president of public policy for Enterprise Community Partners, participated in the HUD-sponsored Summit on Housing: Partnering for Responsible Policy plenary titled "Best Practices for Neighborhood Stabilization. During the plenary, Solis talked about Enterprise’s response to the increasing number of real estate-owned properties in communities affected by concentrated foreclosures. Read more.
